Hello all,

As the title says, I am going to be swapping out my old 998 for a 1275 that currently has a verto clutch. The plan is to use the pre-verto clutch components from the 998 and swap them onto the 1275

Will the stock 998 clutch hold up to the power of a stage 1 1275? Will I need to get the uprated diaphragm and clutch disc?

Dont want to swap it all over and install the engine just to have the clutch slip like crazy!

Thanks ahead of time for the wisdom and knowledge  :proud:

Should be fine, I believe there is no specific clutch type for 998 and 1275 engines. Might be worth fitting a new clutch plate if it's badly worn.
