Fake splits, like most fake things (carbon fibre, clothing, electronics etc etc) are the work of the devil and shouldn't be encouraged. Side by side they aren't anything alike.

Nothing wrong with fake splits
Apart from the fact they don't look much like real split rims. That gives off the impression you cant afford the real deal.

Yeah I can't afford the real deal lol I ain't £1300 rich

Splits arn't that expensive for 13" wheels. Image wheels sell a set of revolution style wheels for £189 a wheel, with centre caps and nuts.
Get to choose your finish too, offset etc, thats a steal for a set of custom made wheels.
In my opinion if you want something, always get the real deal, it will really make your car stand out, especially to those who actually know what they're looking at. Wheels can make or break a car, and you've spent some real time and passion on your mini, even though at times on your build thread i believe you said you lost that passion a few times.
For some reason a lot of mini owners scrimp on their wheels, (I'm not saying you are, as the non genuine splits are expensive for what they are in my opinion). When I see a mint looking mini but it's rolling on some JBW wheels I think it's a bit of a let down, for an extra £300 they could have gotten something really special.
Obviously your choice, it's your car, but a nice set of wheels can put your car in a whole other level of cool.
