Urgent Electrical Help.

Dusky,

Just to check, do you have an electric water temp gauge fitted, and is this working?

For the fuel gauge there should be wire from voltage stabiliser to the gauge (may be light green) and then another wire from the fuel gauge to the sender unit in the tank (could be green or green with black trace).

Hi all!

Im converting from a 2 clock seiko speedo to my center speedo

Everything works except the fuel gauge and the oil pressure warning light.

The fuel gauge works when connected to a battery, and the oil warning light works also when connected to a battery.

Any idea whats wrong?

My fuel gauge and oil pressure light were working just fine yesterday( in the seiko clocks)...

cheers

Oil pressure was wrongly wired.

Can anyone provide a wiring scheme for the fuel gauge?

Its a mechanical one :P

Found the problem though. Wrong wiring sceme, basically I ended up with a negative signal from the tank, and a negative signal at the voltage stabiliser :P

With a posetive signal everything cleared out and the gauge works fine :)
