Name that Cable!

Please see photos attached or using link below..

Under the passenger side front wheel..

I have one plug for the front indicator (Black plug with bits of red paint). All other light fittings (as far as I can see/work out) are plugged in and working.

I am left with one cable... Blue end (Green/Yellow & Black Wires) which I can't seem to find a use for?

Any ideas?

Other Issues

Not sure if related, but..

Symptoms

- New LED rear bulbs installed (direct replacement) - However, issues weren't instant!

- All bulbs lighting up when hazards are engaged at regular blink speed. (inc interior indicating lights)

- All correct bulbs working when using indicators but at double speed!

Any advice appreciated! Sorry if anything is under explained...

Thanks!

Hi,

A bit of a guess, but the blue plug may be for the optional front spots and fogs - unless they are already present and fitted.

The indicator issue sounds a bit like an earthing problem - remember the hazzards are in part a separate circuit as they are fed from the battery - i.e. always available whereas the indicators need the ignition to be on.

All front spots fitted :( Thought of that myself... All plugged in and working correctly.

Never thought of the earth issue.. Will have to tear apart and have a look!

Thanks!
