Argh god knows whats happened to the photos, lots and lots to update...
Had the welding done and after some poor work and going back and forth to the body shop (I wont name names as they are active on here and currently putting a formal case together) the van has been on the road and MOT'd since around April.
Il try and sort the photos or I might just make a new topic about it might be easier

Here is some rust that we were faced with

It had bits of the arches replaced, jacking points and sills and a seatbelt mount.
This is it two weeks after it came back from the bodyshop...
Tiny patches used rather than replaced the panel

Not to mention all the metal flakes left in the paint left from grinding near the van.
The van went back with some of the problems rectified, but now a month or two later the rust is back and the quality of the work is really showing through, I have approached the company(who specialise in minis) but they dont want to know so I am currently putting a formal case together against them.
Here is how the van sits now

Despite all the stress we have began enjoying the van, camping many times already in wales and attending lots of vw shows. It has recently been to Goodwood Festival of Speed aswell.
Most of the niggles are now sorted and the van is reliable and looks fairly tidy if you stand 10m back.
Now work has died down and I have more time I will continue to push for compensation regarding the shocking state of the bodywork.
If anyone wants to know the company involved PM me.

looks well. Imo you should name and shame the company as there are far to many cowboys taking peoples had earned cash

In the process of taking them to small claims court so wont name the company publicly

Do it!! I would love a T25 sooo much but my OH would suffocate me in my sleep if I even mentioned the idea as we don't have the space/money. I love the older ones but there's something about the T25s that's just so much cooler but in a less obvious way (if that makes any sense 😁) so go for it!Hi mate,
If you see this anytime soon, what's your insurance like and who through? Hope you don't mind me asking...
I've been offered a road going, light project T25 for a straight swap for an old skool pick up I have. I've always wanted a T2, but no way I can afford one of them at the moment, so really tempted to go for this T25 as would be awesome still.
Thanks!
