I've got Avid XO levers and Code calipers, and Avid being Avid of course they need their own bleed kit with syringes and crap but as long as you read through the instructions and get as much air out the oil you can it really isn't that hard. My first try took me 2 goes to get it right (just had to pop the syringes back on and give them another squeeze and tap all the lines again) but hasn't been a problem since.
Make sure the pad contact adjusters aren't set stupidly or you'll find you won't have enough adjustment on the brakes down the line (I had this problem!), I used DOT 4 car brake fluid in mine (although they say DOT5.1, and yes I do feel like a badass) and I haven't had a problem with heat when riding DH or anything.
