Hi guys,

 

Have been experiencing some rough idling, and occasional cut outs on idle with my mpi, so went to check the IACV was all ok and clean. Like a complete idiot I managed to drop one of the screws (but not the washer ). 

 

So, does anyone know the size of the torx screws that hold these things in? Ideally I'd like to pop to my local auto shop tomorrow morning and just buy a replacement, instead of ordering online.

 

On a side note, should there be a gasket or o-ring around the IACV? I didn't see one but thought there should be.

not sure on the size of the screw, but yeah there should be an O ring

Which screw? the small one or the large one?

 

Also shows the O ring

Mini suppliers have the large machine screw, not sure on the small almost self tapping style smaller version.
