Although faces for loads of stuff on that list!

 

unfortunately the list is based on what the dealer recorded rather than what was written on the V5, so its likely that many more limited editions were lost but just recorded as Mini. Data quality of the list was quite poor, a number of Mini Ones were recorded as scrapped when they wouldn't have been old enough for the scheme at that point.

 

Was there an age limit for the scheme then?

 

 

yes, 10 years and had to hold a valid MoT, no "barn finds" allowed

Those two words " barn finds " makes me cringe, a case of the old bandwagon again !!!!!!!!!!!!

Theres some real old but weird ones on that list, Autobarn gecko.. Some of theses should not ever have been scrapped, I can see why people do it though.

OMG, that airfield is a goldmine of spares!!  Some cars there that should have been saved too
