Available on ebay again should you need some. Seems a reasonable price too.

Classic Morris Mini MK1 1959 – 1960 – 1961 – 1962 door kick black plastic inserts LH and RH.
As originally fitted to 1959 to 1962 Morris Minis only. (Austin Minis had the aluminium plates but these will fit)
The original Morris part numbers are:-
ADA3733 Protector, door pocket, RH
ADA3734 Protector, door pocket LH
These protectors are reproductions reverse engineered from undamaged originals for a classic Morris Mini Mk 1 rebuild. Due to popular request I have made some more. They are slightly thicker plastic than the originals and are thus more resistant to kick damage. Also they are slightly ‘over sized’ around the edges to allow trimming to suit your particular door pocket aluminium strip mouldings (items ADA3735 and ADA3736) that can vary a bit . Holes will need to be cut in the correct places for the door check strap screws.
See photo of a RH Protector fitted to my own rather battered 1960 Morris Mini.

If you click on the link and click go to original listing you should be able to send the seller a message. The seller is still active.

Yes I know you can get the Austin ones but I'm referring to the plastic Morris ones  as shown in the thread

That's an option yes, it just takes a fair bit of time to create the 3d model and being a kick plate having to paint it with a single pack wrinkle finish it's not going to be that resilient. Vacuum forming with a textured material is the ideal solution which is I think how the top ones were done.

All doable but I was hoping to avoid all that work if anybody is still making them, can't find out who originally recreated them unfortunately.

vacuum forming would definitely be the more efficient method with a better surface finish and potentially stronger materials on offer

Did you have any luck finding Grant Welsh in Australia who produced some?

An Australian member of the Mk1 Forum has offered to contact him before for someone who was after a set but UK based:-
