yes! I would have been very disappointed had I gone for events and car show 'n shine. There was one event the crank throwing contest, and nothing else. We went out for days instead. I am glad I've seen Denmark though. The weather was very channgeable, raining every day but sunny periods. We went over the two bridges, one over to Sweden. There were quite a few people from England there and it was good to see some old friends.

yeah i agree with the lack of show and shine and any other events!
it ws good catching up with mates again and making some new friends , i cant believe the guys from portugal driving near 6500kms to get there!
next year is looking good tho

I'm afraid the event was a bit beyond the organisers, however enthusiastic. But at least we knew from the start as we sploshed along the M4 that things were going to be wet ... Huey's wipers not only agreed to work, but even refused to stop a couple of times

Not having been to an IMM before I have nothing to assess it by, but Peter Gabriel's Games Without Frontiers probably sums it up.
Next year in Amsterdam should be good, though, and the year after in Brum (home of the mini on its 50th anniversary) will be a 150% must.
PS Think the Hawaii gig is a joke
