Audi TT fronts, converted on to Fabia runners
MK3 golf rears, retrimmed over fabia bases
And some decent wheels that I will paint at work

I was looking at an old Skoda Octavia 1.9 TDI, as a daily, but Aviva wanted about £1800 ish, I think. Insurance is a joke!

For me it's 2.5k, a grand dearer than my metro, but it's a fair bit quicker lol

Did you do all the seat work yourself and retrim the golf leather onto the fabia seats in the back? Can't get over how nice it is! I prefer worn leather to fresh leather. Don't know why though

Smug git. My grandad was paying £400-£500 on an e46 330d saloon. It would cost me £1800 ish on the same car.
Clearly some things DO get better with age.
