Yeah is pretty cool. If you know where the buttons are thats sorted mate. Good for security having it down there as when its trimmed you can hardly see it.

Just found this thread - I don't look in the ICE section very often.

My setup:

In the front air vent holes:
MB Quart components

Under the rear seat:

JL Audio 6x9's

All four powered by:

Alpine 4 channel amp

The source is a Kenwood motorised front mask h/u, can't remember the model number.

Its a nice sounding system, the 6x9's give me just the amount a bass I need - not really into subs. Thinking of remounting the 6x9's onto the parcel shelf though because I'm not really getting any treble from them at the mo - its all getting drowned into the front seats!

looks really good mayoturbo, head unit under the rear seats mean the dash still looks retro, just one thing your sub box looks square, you need a sloped face on the box either the peice the sub sits on or the oposite side, it to do with air moving and hitting the sub whilst its moving the oposite way.

Square boxes are fine to be honest mate - the whole cube thing is to do with standing waves, but bass frequencies have a wavelength too long to be affected.

What power cable are you using on that amp? looks very thin for the size of the amp?

Power cables im not sure if it will make much difference as the power cable is probable only a foot in length...

If it were in a normal car running a span of 4 meters etc then probaly need to be thicker I opted for thick cable simply as it ws in my old car when the I.C.E was in there... ;-)

Mayoturbo shame about the boot space being lost what with that beefy JBL 12" in the boot umm lovely stuff fella...

Watch this space....
