Just putting a MG Metro 1275 engine in a mini based kit car understand the wiring from the disty but how to you get the timing setup to get the engine running? With the old contact system I would have set the engine at whatever degrees BTDC & then turned the disty until the points opened, having a meter across then so I knew when. Once started it can then be strobed, but I don't see a way of doing this with the electronic system.
