Using features on my megajolt and a solid state quick react relay I've made a hard revlimiter that i'll use for launches
(To add I haven't just bought a hard revimiter board from autosport)

I always thought launch control was primarily to make sure you had maximum torque, minimum clutch slip and maximum traction...

Good to see "pub points" haven't gone out of fashion.

It's not really much use on an N/A car, you can do exactly the same thing with your right foot and hold it at a set rpm to launch. for true launch control it'll need wheel speed sensors, gear sensors, efi being the main one.
I tried it years ago with my megajolt and it doesn't switch between maps quickly enough to do anything useful.
I had in mind using it for flat shifting and sitting on the line bouncing off the hard cut at 5k rpm building boost ready to launch with, with a switch on the clutch pedal to switch from normal map to the 2nd one with a lower hard cut limit.

and about 20% wheel slip so it don't bog down.
