I like the 5 door mpi. Apparently it uses the same floor pan as a mini van
Do you have any other details or photos?
Vehicle details before export:-
M432 BLT
Vehicle make ROVER
Date of first registration 19 November 1994
Year of manufacture 1994
Cylinder capacity (cc) 1275cc
CO₂Emissions Not available
Fuel type PETROL
Export marker Yes
Vehicle status Not taxed
Vehicle colour RED
✗ Untaxed
This is where I saw the bit about using a mini van floor pan

Looks like it was in reference to some 5 door minis made in the 60's. The mpi version seems to be a hybrid but not much details

Thanks for the link james, also has some nice photos of the exhibition!
Quote from Autocar magazine:-
"As part of the exhibition, BMW has also built a replica of an experimental four-door Mini that was constructed by Austin-Morris in the early 1960s. Based on period photos, the new car is based on a later-model Mini Classic. BMW design sources say the original four-door was built on the same stretched wheelbase as the Mini Van, which was launched in 1960. One version used standard Mini front doors, which were flipped and rear-hinged, while nother version used a bespoke door design. Neither prototype survived when the company decided not to pursue the idea."

According to the front page headlines in this weeks 'Classic Car Buyer' newspaper the 'Mini Story' exhibition will eventually be going on show at the Cowley Oxford Plant after its run in Munich.

Sorry for taking so long to post up - life has been very busy.
We had a fantastic time in Munich and the exhibition is very good. I think people who aren't Mini/MINI fans would enjoy it too. It's very BMW in the sense that it's done very well, well thought out and I found it very hard to fault.
You walk up a spiral which has information pods and video in the walls/at the side. There are five platforms as you go which have more Minis/MINIs. As you walk through the exhibition you are walking through the story of Mini from 1959 until today, and it flows very well. I was a little concerned that Longbridge might be brushed out, but it's not which I'm very pleased about. I found it a comprehensive and well told story and it was good to see the Spiritual and ACV 30 in the metal.
I had a chat with Paddy Hopkirk and Mike Cooper and met a number of Mini/MINI friends. I also spoke to Frank Bachmann, MINI Plant Oxford's MD who told me that the exhibition will be coming to MINI Plant Oxford in the future. Obviously, this is great news, but it does need to be housed appropriately, not just dumped in T Building. Even though it will be smaller than it is in Munich, the presentation must be as good, so I will keep on reminding the Plant about this! I also visited the BMW Museum, and while I have no interest in BMWs, this too was very well thought through and laid out, so that even I was quite happy to look round. If I'm honest, both the BMW Museum and MINI Exhibition put Gaydon to shame.
I would recommend anyone to visit, and if you go in your Minis/MINIs, I'm sure that MINI and BMW will make both you and your cars very welcome.
I sneaked off and missed pudding so that I could take some pics without people about, so here's a few of them. I took loads, which can be found here - https://www.facebook...95028026&type=3
