Hello peeps, I have just come across an advert for a pristine 1964 1071 Austin Cooper S in almond green and old English white. It`s totally gorgeous and original following a restoration not too many years ago. The point is that the non-negotiable asking price is £25K, do any of you think that`s right, too much or what? I`d appreciate your opinions.

If there was ever a car to command that sort of mental price, thats probably up there.
I wouldnt pay that for it, but someone probably would. Only thing i can spot wrong with it is it's sills. Theyre proper vented ones, but it would have come with 4 vent sills as opposed to 6 vent, but it's all down to how picky you are as to whether that matters or not.

Unfortunately that is around the money top Cooper S are going for these days, That car looks immaculate in those photos.
Id happily have it in my garage if I had that sort of money to spend on a Mini.

Hi Phil, I`m often in SCF in my coach, what`s your local club like? I`ve not actually joined mine yet but I get the impression it`s a bit "basic" though I don`t really know what to expect. I think the "meeting house" being a pub is a little off-putting.

looks nice and well priced for a 1071
a few issues
no photos of boot inside
or engine bay
wrong window catches
wrong handbrake
again as said wrong sills
doors seem to drop with large gap at the top maybe down to missing the white bush

If you look further down the EB page there is a pic of the boot but not the engine bay unfortunately, which seems an odd omission to me.
