You know I like this car and will always be interested if it does become available, so, give me a shout if it is to go. Cheers, Josh.

At the end of the day it's only worth what someone is willing to pay.
My advice would be to get some up to date pictures with the car original as possible, and put it on ebay with a reserve that your happy with. Then sell the extras.
yes i agree to get the best return for it.
It is not all about that with this car for me as I would love to see it done and the extras included could be a bonus for the new owner.
It needs little money spending more enthusiastic time and a paint job it is worthy of.It is a great car and would be a well worthwile project and it will only go one way in value in my opinion.
I know it would return what I think it is worth if I take up the options recommended.
Out of interest - how could I find out how many GT's were produced in Antique gold - as I certainly have never seen another.
Thanks all the feedback

This 1275GT sold at a Charter House auction on the 2nd of November this year for £3200. Although it was a 12" model it still had the original early style vinyl interior and big 3 spoke wheels and was completely original aside from a respray. The underneath was mint aside from a patch at the front of each inner sill and from what I could see there was no reason it would pass and MOT first time round.
In my opinion this one was only really worth £2k but people to tend to get carried away at live auctions and it made really strong money. If you want to get the best money for it I would definitely suggest putting it into a proper auction and doing a bit of self advertising.
Personally I would value yours at £1500 for yours as it would need at least a respray to be presentable and it's still just a 12" GT that's had the floor pans replaced and possibly something iffy done to the scuttle.

If it's a 76" it should have 12" wheels and 8.4 discs. So the 7.5 brakes are an add on, which you can pick up for £200 (in fact I paid £150 last month)
The antique gold would be nice, but its white, green and red, so it would need a spray job.
And even if it's under cover I'm pretty sure it would have deteriorated in the last 6 years since the pics were taken.
There isn't more rarety to a 76" car than a 1980 car, other than the roof guttering has the drip rail, which I can't quite see on your pictures
The big money are for the 10" 69" to 74" gt's.
What did you pay for your project?

That may help as a gauge

But that's irrelevant as it's going nowhere.
I think yours is at 1400-1600 that's basically the figure a few members have independently have valued it at.
Keep hold of it and the price will go up, but the condition will really go down hill.
The "new" brakes are now 6 years old and probably need rebuilding, I think there is more money than you think to get that in usable condition.
Good luck with it though.

I won't disclose what I paid, but I got it cheap enough that I can sink a lot of money into it in the knowledge I could still sell it on for a profit.

OK, Thanks for that!!
I am not disputing the valuations at all I agree with them with the 8.4 brakes on and the goodies rempved
My storage is good and none of my other minis have deteriorated much . If they were rotten then they put away would continue to rot but rust free metal does not rot when not exposed to moisture or the elements.as my storage has good air circulation.
