So today at tesco I was asked to show ID for plastic knives and forks. New one to me. Just wondered what other weird things people have been asked to show ID for? (Ive also been asked for super glue before - that I can understand a bit more!)

No idea, but they did! I don't remember how much it was but it was probably nearing the dangerous limit when combined with vodka and Jäger! :D

I get ID'd all the time, for a lottery ticket, for gigs, for cigarettes (but don't smoke anymore) and for some reason for motor oil a couple of weeks ago, and also white spirit.

I don't get asked any more.

I used to get asked a fair bit when buying Alcohol/Cigarettes but never anything unusual.

I heard a story a few years back about this old boy that was asked I.d in a morrisons when he was buying a Quiche that had alcohol in the recipe but i thing that was a wind up by the checkout assistant.

Made the papers though!

Ben

yup even motor oil, I really don't understand why, I'm not wanting to drink the stuff, my mini needs oil! now!

That quiche thing is pretty funny though hehe.

Get's pretty annoying when you get refused this stuff though, then have to leave without it cause you didn't bring ID

But maybe I should be glad people think I look so young? :shifty:
