So I have several electronic dizzys but all of them have been butchered by ham fisted mechanics in the past.
I don't want to put a bigger screw in, use PTFE tape or use a cable tie.
So what size are the cap screws?

Don't know, it may be a BA thread. You could count the turns per inch and get the vernier calipers out, then look for thread specs online.
