Has anyone had issues with the magnum boot repair panel. I know some of the fits can be iffy, but this panel doesnt seem right. first thing that struck me was the lip that the wheel arch attaches to, is bent up instead of down, which to be honest isnt a major issue, but still! Thes second issue is that the indent for the wheel arch (where the shock goes) doesnt match the shape of a magnum wheel arch? im sure i could make it fit with a big hammer. lastly the area where you attach the subframe to arch mount, is raised, and the mount wont actually fit it?

i dont want to sound like i am slating magnum (it might just be a single bad panel), but has anyone else had these issues?

thanks

Rich

Unfortunately those magnum repair panel where designed to the be welded over the top of a rusty floor much like a cover sill.

They can be made to fit correctly with a fair amount of work but in my opinion you'd be better off getting some sheet steel and making your own.

Tupers has hit the nail on the head here, those panels are a very poor fit and take a stupid amount of time to get a half decent finish. I ended up bastardising one to get a reasonable repair done on will's mini special and even then it is as far from perfect. The amount of time I wasted on it I could have bought a complete boot floor and then it would gave worked out cheaper in the long term.
