Trading a Mini for a Bini aside, If you do go for it, then I really wouldn't go for a "one" model. I found them to be utterly gutless and couldn't believe that it was actually a 1.6! Go for a Cooper model instead, whilst they're not as much fun as a classic Mini, they're a lot of fun in their own right. A Bini one is just dull to drive, and by comparison a standard 998 feels like it's got more poke!

Go for it if you like then. I recently got a One and love it. I wouldn't exactly say they're gutless! When I was looking, I wasn't bothered whether I got a One or a Cooper as for only £250-£300 you can get a One to Cooper spec with a Bluefin, I believe a little more. I've asked for a Bluefin for Christmas from the gf and her mum so can't wait to get that done on mine. I still really like the Cooper S, but my god, so many of them around, especially in the dark grey colour. I'm bored of seeing the S bumpers on ever mini too, so I'm happy with my One. The classic has actually come off the road as enjoying the MINI more :D
