According to the book by Ryno Verster there is one in South Africa. He mentions in his book “Thanks for the Mini Memories – A South African Mini Story”, that the outspan mini is at the James Hall transport museum in Johannesburg.

They had one at the Stanford hall mini show about 95/96 and you could pay something like 50p for a ride in it which I did! Never seen another one in real life since though. I wonder which one that was?

Just dug out my model Outspan made by Oxford Diecast.

They also do a grapefruit version but, was there ever a real one?

No full size grapefruit car was ever made and none of the oranges were ever painted yellow.

Just the toys.
