Just wasted 45 mins driving there, only to find it shut and told it's Christmas eve as staff were walking out.

Appreciate the time of year and it being quiet and nearly jolly o'clock but if you're gonna advertise you're open until 2pm, would have been nice to stick to it.

Might have been worth calling . How many places let there staff  go a few hours early at christmas . I doubt they can have had many through the door customers on xmas eve .

 

 Bit harsh on them , they have provided a excellent service getting stuff out .

I'm with him,  Why advertise till 2 and not stick by it?   o.0   If they intended to close early why not put on closing time (eg 11am)

I don't know anyone who works in retail who gets let out before the advertised closing time.

Its no t regular retail is it ? Its not like Tesco's etc .  It would have made sense to phone before .

I've gotta agree ...... If you say you closed at 2pm then it's abit out of order closing earlier just incase someone was enroute like what's happened!!

Ahhh cheer up, those guys have probably just worked so hard to push out parcels for people. What's a couple hours at the end of the year. It is Christmas after all.

I can see both sides of this one, it's annoying to make a special journey to find out that it's closed early, on the other side it's nice to finish early and get home so you can get ready for Christmas Day.

I've no axe to grind here, I'm working till 7am tomorrow and we can't/don't finish early as the next shift won't be till 7am.
