hey, at the moment i have standard 10"by3.5" wheels on my 1980 mini

what tyre pressure should i set.. it says in the manual that it should be
24 at front..
and 22 at back

they still dont look inflated enough tho
will it be safe running at 30?? or what do ya recommend?

thanks,
matt

24 psi seems very low to me. I have 165/70/10 Yoko A008s and I run them near 30 psi all the time. The ride is probably a little bouncy compared to your running at 24... but it certainly isn't unsafe. Keep well below the maximum pressure indicated on the tire's sidewall and inflate them until they "look" right and provide the ride you want. Keep in mind that high tire pressure will give the car a "squirrelly" feel and will cause the center of the tread pattern to wear prematurely.
