Hello, Yes you should be able to.
It does depend on a certain number of conditions though, if you phone customer services you can buy it from them.
When i bought mine, and the same with my BMW i had the option of purchasing the extended TLC pack (5years) at a later date, but decided against it.
Both cars were bought as used cars.
For future reference though, you will be better going to www.mini2.com
Although this forum is supposedly new mini friendly it is totally classic mini orientated with no sections for the new mini or anything like that, and a lot of members here are not at all friendly towards new mini owners.

yeah, but Burnard is right. Whenever there is a post on here about a BMW, there are replies such as "get lost, this is for classic minis" etc. Then a mod or someone quotes that we tolerate new minis etc, - BUT WE DONT - there is no section for them. Mods, and users make your minds up. Whenever there is a BMW mini post, either move it to a newly created section, or delete it immediately.

it has been made clear on several occasions that TMF a is for classic minis, however we do not tolerate abuse towards new minis (hence us being new mini tolerant). There is a general motoring section - motor mouth. However new mini owners are better served by the new mini specific forums such as mini2.com.meow

Unfortunately the fact a bunch of mainly grown adults need to be told to be "new mini tolerant" sums up the situation! Lets not try and punch any babies in the face either, lol
Tlc upgrade should be fine if you ask in the dealers even if not the fixed price service costs are very good compared to most.
ha ha ha
yeah we gotta stop punching them babies

Are we really having this discussion again?
There are forums out there for the BMW MINI, this does not need to be another one.
The registration page has been changed to make this clear, however it appears not to be clear enough.
Due to the fact TMF comes top of Google searches people look no further than here even though there is a picture of a mini at the top.

To be fair though, at the top of the page I'm on it does say "your online guide to everything mini". Well is it or isn't it?. 'Everything' is conveniently highlighted in blue just to make things clearer.

Actually nobody even insulted the bloke , he was kindly pointed in the right direction , which is what the mods want isnt it ?
Whats the problem ?
The only problem seems to be people joining and not looking at the sight before posting , but you cant do anything about that .

We've tried to do something about it, we're just going to have to try a bit harder
