It would take forever for the incorrect anti freeze to eat its way along sealed^* head gasket. The situation isn't as bad as it was when every other car manufacturer had an OAT brew to their own spec, but you'll still be better off with ethylene-glycol in a Mini with a less sealed cooling system.

yeah cold weather also affects start up. If I could get an optima battery here, without costing me an arm and a leg, I would, LOL  and damn that's cold up there.

 

yeah, my battery could probably have been bigger. Will try and bump it with my van. has a nice big battery.
