Is there some kind of way to find out what the original color of my Mini was? I've done an HPI check and at one point it was grey before they painted it blue. When I cleaned the road grime off the engine bay I also found white and oddly enough red as well. 13 owners thru its life, and I'm lucky #14 with a complete rebuild in work at the moment. I know there is a 59 registry with amazing records kept, but I don't know about a 1986 Mini City E 1000 registry. LOL Any ideas people? Thanks!

Doe's the ID plate in the engine bay have a paint code, usually three letters.
