Let's do an easier sum.

A man is 40. The socially acceptable age is someone half his age, 20 + 7. So 27.

Apparently... the socially acceptable age gap is half your age + 7.

Not if your 16!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edit: should it be half your age MINUS 7, that would make more sense.
Half 16 is 8, +7 is 15. 15 and 16 is fine in my book.  :ermm: [EDIT]I mean dating age, not sexual age. Best add that bit!
You said acceptable age GAP not age! So half sixteen is 8 +7=15. So age gap of fifteen would be someone 1 or 31! Weird either way! This really has got weird!
Uhm your maths is wrong...Age=161/2 Age=88-7=1Acceptable age gap=1
Uhm your english is wrong as the post said half age PLUS seven, I corrected it to the way you put it ;-) so both my maths and English are right ner ner ner ( we need someone to shout 'stop it, it's getting silly' monty Python style).

Correct, not age GAP as originally stated as that would make it 13 and a free ten years full board with Hairy Bernard in cell block C.
