I got pulled by the Police the other night and said my arches dont cover my wheels properly! :)

Ive got 13x7 and Euro Group 5 arches from Custom minis, the tyres are slightly visible but nothing major! Are you allowed to have a certain amount showing? sonce Tractors rear wheels seem to be sticking out a lot lol :proud:

I looked through the MOT check list in the FAQ and cant find anything about it

Help! ;)

AFAIK the tread has to be covered. The front on the pic in your sig does look to be showing too much rubber.

It's not an MOT check, which is why you wont find it on there, but yes, the tread must be covered when looking from above...

Bugger!!!! What will the say if i put a negative camber kit on the car and bring the tops in a bit?

Unfortunately negative camber will push the bottom of the wheel out far more than it will bring the top in.

Theres not point in having a bad handling car because the suspension settings are way out just to get it legal!

looked at your car when it was last at woody's mate and noticed your tyres stick out of the arches alot like an inch!

get some group R or type R arches from Smudger they are quite big i think.

Got any pics of group 'R' arches? Was just about to order some 13 x 7 Superstars and Group 5 arches... Am a little concerned now!!

Normal group 5 arches normally cover 13x7's perfectly....

i had them arches on for a few months with my 13x8 alleycats stuck out loads but looked the dogs dangleys :xxx:

Why not go euro style and get some streched rubber on them wide wheels?
