I believe Toffee vodka has been officially banned by TMF

And travelodge haha
I keep hearing all about this , what the holy christ happened ? Did it get to human sacrifice  and burning the place down ?

Hehe we didn't really do anything! Just everyone was a bit of a state (definitely me in this). We got a visit from the receptionist at 10.10pm (on a sat night) saying we were too loud (she hated me as i answered the door drunk - i think it was possibly Leaky who dealt with her in the end) and then Leaky was posioning everyone with toffee vodka and Jaeger haha. Then we went to frankie and bennys and i dont remember any of that, then to a pub about a 40 min walk away - we never made it, but Leaky did have the idea that we should try and ride the painted on bicycles on the bike lane - i have picture proof of me doing this... and then the indian guys saw far too much of our Zara's tushy - oh and we couldn't figure out my bra in the travelodge..

All in all it was a fun night haha.

I'm so glad I stayed sober and acted like the sensible grown up in amongst all of this.

Well, you know me. One of us had to act like an adult ;)

It was an unusual breakfast experience. You made a right mess of the Scirocco in general that week.

Sometimes you've just got to say what everyone else is thinking.

Back on topic, the price of fuel is making a big difference to me. We went to Bingley (400 mile round trip) and it cost £40 in fuel. Split the cost, £20 each just isn't a lot. If I didn't have a right foot made of lead it would've been cheaper still

Oil price goes down (screw you UAE and USA!!!), costs to get it out of the ground stay the same, profits fall.

When profits fall, companies can't keep all their staff, so staff are made redundant.  300 from BP, over 1000 from Wood Group, Halliburton over 1000, Baker Hughes over 1000 and numerous smaller companies losing jobs too and that's just since Christmas.

Awful time to be working in oil and gas and I'm just hoping I don't lose my job too :(  I would rather pay £10 more for a tank of fuel and keep my job than get cheaper fuel and be unemployed.  Its dramatically affecting the entire economy up here.

Looks like the price per barrel has bottomed out. It has gone up by $2 per barrel since last week.

Bet the Jocks are glad they didn't vote for independence as all their financial projections were on oil being c.$100 per barrel with appropriate taxes levied on that.
