I've just ordered two of these: http://www.amazon.co...#productDetails Couldn't be bothered with that order from HK and wait three weeks malarkey, so paid a little more for two of them.

Thanks, it is the best colour!
This is LED strip I used, the 5050 LEDS being the best and widest beam angle for the size:

it is very flat and can be cut to length with a pair of scissors, which I did. However as the strip is white and obvious from the outside, I used a strip of lighting gel (similar to whats used to black out windows) to hide the whiteness of the strip. I stuck the strip to some tape and wrapped the tape around to seal the gel on top. Then used extra wide tape to tape it to the inside top of the rear window.

they look a bit big IMO, not very flat and hence not easy to stick to a window. check out my link above.

Hi All,
I have altered my LED set up, and now have a shorter brake light, and have parallel rows of LEDs and I found some amber LED tape from China and now have indicators too!
I removed the gel I had on top, as it was too stopping the light transmission and reflected back, so for now I have carefully taped round the PCB of the LED, so only the tiny silver bit of silver is visible.
The amber doesn't look as bright as the red in the video, but it is nearly as bright as the red in real life.
You can see here:

Overall I'm really happy with it all now.
