What Do I Need For Twin Hs2's?

Best Answer Spitz , 15 January 2015 - 08:14 PM

This

Three of these

This  if bought from here would eliminate the need to buy the springs separately

You know about the manifold...you would need gaskets also and spacers.

You would need an exhaust manifold also.....or, carfully remove the intake portion of the stock manifold ( I've done this twice with great results )

Possibly a "rebuild" kit for the carbs

Correct needles for your engine

Air box/filter or cone type.... a few different choices

I have just got my hands on twin hs2's and wondered what I need, I am going to rebuild them but I don't know what I need to join them together, I know a manifold but there's little bits and bobs I don't know and how many to get! I was going to use the HS2 Twin kit from minispares as a reference seeing as the parts in the kit are listed below it but some of them don't say how many I would need for a carb or twin carb! Hope that makes sense to someone!

Look at a parts diagram, sorted..
Or buy a linkage kit with spacers and heatshield toghethe, it all depends on what you have now
