Distributor Cover?

Best Answer Corey96Williams , 28 January 2015 - 05:30 PM

You want to get a splash guard for your mini. Cheap and easy to fit. Plenty on ebay.

will be worth fitting electronic ignition too, puts up with more stick.

Agreed. Search for Weathershield.

I used to use a rubber glove and then upgraded to spray on ignition sealer years ago.
I've seen lots of posts on here saying weather shields are good, so I would go that route first.
If you have points, then changing to electronic at some point might save you some hassle.

I've already made a weather shield, but that obviously isn't quite enough. I've just put a rubber glove on over it whilst I had the chance.

If it continues then yes, I'll buy a proper splash shield  :gimme:

Hi,

Recently my Mini has been a pain to drive in the rain, as the distributor gets wet. I've heard you can get a sort of 'Sock' to cover it.

Where can I get these, and what are they like?

Thanks,

Corey.
