So I figured I would start a new thread under projects.  As a lot of you know I bought Birdmans Monte Carlo MiniBusa so i feel its only fitting to call it Project Pheonix, Birdmans mini reborn.  There is not much if anything really that needs to be done to the car but I figure anything I do I will just post up here.  My Dad and I drove down to pick up the mini, 6 hours each way.

Got it all in the garage but I will need to build some ramps to get it down the curb.

That's gonna be such a blast to drive, we look forward to seeing what you get up to with it.

I spy a blue mini in there as well?!?!

Yes, its a '75 Morris I picked up a few years back. I was in the process of stripping it down to address the rusty bits when my dad showed an interest in it as well.  He will retire next year and wants to work on it together.  It will be a fun project for the both of us.  It was pretty rough when I bought it.

Nice Car, nice large garage ( envy) good luck with you car and happy motoring.

Do you have any info on the rear wing or does any other Zcars or mini fan have any info on rear wings ie what one to buy and where from?

I believe the wing was an Ebay buy, if you want, I can take some photos and measurements for you.

That would be a great help My car is on route from Hull to Newcastle  and then on to Glasgow as we speak( I hope) so any details of a rear wing would be helpful.

Thanks Don

Not wanting to thread jack here but.......  Dondo, I've been looking into aero recently and knowing you have a fibreglass shell I would suggest that if you're going to mount a rear wing that you should make every effort to affix it to the space frame not the shell. Also having driven a Zcar for some time now I would look at getting the front aero sorted as much as the rear, because at 130+mph the front feels light. Just my 2penneth.
