So I advertised this (sort of) a year ago for a friend of my dads but fell in love with the car so ended up buying and using it myself while my mini has been off the road.
Sadly with my mini nearing completion and small amounts of rust (only a few small areas) starting to come through on the metro, I just don't have the time to sort it out and it would be a shame to just leave it as if it is sorted now it won't need too much work rather than let it get any worse! I am hoping it will go to an enthusiast who will do the little bits that need doing then keep it for years to come as it goes up in value 
It is a 1988 Metro Vanden Plas. There is only about 28 of these left on the road so it is a car that is only going to increase in value!
I have used this daily for the last year and it has been amazing.
It has a 1275 MG engine which runs perfectly. The only thing I would note is that 2nd gear crunches occassionally so this would probably need sorting at some point.
Bodywork is very good, especially considering its age (the car is older than me!) As I said above there are a few areas starting to show rust that would require attention (nothing major). There is a patch on the sill done by someone previously but other than that I don't think its had any other work done to it.
The car is very original. Being a Vanden Plas, its got the electric windows, central locking, cassette-radio player and walnut trim.... all the important extras necessary ;)
I've got some service history with it, some original manuals (including the radio manual) etc
Also comes with a spare set of the VP hub cabs and it will come with a years MOT.
