My bolt with lock nut is spun all the way down flush with the Hilo, so I dont think its bottomed out on the spacer/retainer piece that it's sitting in...
I also really don't think I need to go lower but when I go set up the cars suspension and start measuring everything, I would like to be able to tweak the height, up isn't an issue its the down.
I really just wanted to see if other people have had the same issue unless some aren't running thier cars this low... Got to be other people trying to get a nice ride but low looks with my same problem...maybe?

To be honest I think most people just accept that running a car low makes for a rougher ride.

Low and smooth ride aren't two words that normally go together

'Low with smooth ride' is an oxymoron. (A bit like 'military intelligence' ;D) .

Minis are great largely because of the way the suspension works (rubber spring cones giving true rising rate springs). With much lowered suspension, it doesn't work as intended and damping has to be very hard so road-holding is reduced except on totally smooth surfaces (like race tracks).

Rt!! Lol. Don't know what I was thinking:/
I started this thread to find out if other peoples hi los were at their lowest with a decent "gap" between tire and fender.
I have no arches and want to keep that look..... I've seen a lot of cars with arches and cut up body work/wings to get what looks like a lot lower than where I'm at.

Just Thought I'd have more wiggle room with the hi Lo to adjust and set up my car to what I thought would be a good look/height and hopefully kind of a decent ride.....
