Is there a particular place this should go? Or just anywhere to ground the engine to the body?

Cheers

Between the mounting points on the top steady and the engine, keeps it up out of the grime and it should be longer than the brace bar so it can't get strained and frayed/break. It could go anywhere that both ends get a good clean earth but dont put it to the subframe as that is partly insulated from the body, you dont want the starter motor using the throttle cable as an earth which is what normally happens!

put two on, costs peanuts and reduces the risk of bad connections. Take one from the wok to the front subframe mount or any where else convenient as long as its a good connection

I have now got four engine earths.
One from thermostat stud to bodywork.
One from block to bodywork.
One from wok to top engine steady.
One from coil mount to bodywork.
I'm all earthed up.
