Hello All.

I have the mini engine out as I am going to fit a rebuilt box from Guessworks. Ya whoo

Whilst I have the bottom of the engine exposed I thought it prudent to check endfloat on the crank, its 5 thou, believe it should be 2-3 thou, so going to get a standard set and a plus 3.

Anyway I have take the centre big end cap of and removed the bearings. They are stamped vandervell and have tbe following numbers leb 10001. 4499, the lower one leb 10002. 6587.
Can anyone shed any light on these numbers?
The bolts on all the end caps have a red dot of paint on them, does this mean standard size.?

The car has covered 45k and I am the third owner.

Thanks for any advice
