Update....I have just purchased this.......

and will start a strip down and rebuild here when It arrives from Holland

Busy day started removing engine from bay .......make shift ramp so as to get trolley jack under G/box....

Then had a little trouble removing exhaust at ypiece onlt took an hour.....lol

then proceeded with carb and servo then LCB......

then pop ball joints and steering pop out inboarg pots from G/box undone selector and engine mounts removed rad, alt, dizzy, and starter motor and speedo cable.......Oh and forgot slave cylinder......there always one....lol and engome was lifted out.....

then gave the engine w coat of very soapy water with a brush ready for a power wash tomorrow before I apply a paint stripper and another wash....

todays efforts........power wash engine and apply this amazing stripper.....

power wash again.....back to a good base.....for strip down......

then start stripdown head off first....

the full large valve head with carbs and fitting kit.....2199 euros + postage.......in english £1650 + postage at current exchange rates....

What colour are you planning on painting everything?

 

It would be nice to do the whole thing in MOWOG green and leave the top machined face of the head bare like a pre A+ 1275 head.

I would leave the head as it is makes it more of a statement

Yup another for keeping the head as is. Might have issues lacquering it though. Not sure if there is a proper high temp one on the market.

You can get clear VHT exhaust temp aerosols that may be suitable.

 

Kit looks mega. What cam spec is being used. Assume this is essentially a road car motor?
