then masked the block and applied 2 coats enamel.....

Hi..no not rehoning as its only done 9000 since built by Swiftune.....

Bearings finally arrived from MED and made a start on rebuild........New Swiftune oil pump fitted......
New SW8 cam installed.............
new bearings fitted to mains journels and crankshaft fitted..............

Fitted pistons and New MED ally timing plate.............
then mounted G/box to block.......
and then set timing up......
Cam timed in........
.....
so far so good....

Thanks 1293gt.....
Fitted timing cover and New MED pully.......
fitted primary and transfer gears and clutch cover.....went to fit new Lt flt and plate but no verto center in kit.....lol and I dumped the old fly.....DOH

I was advised to clean the coating off the lobes from the cam before installation.

Hi..Fitted new 7 port head to block with new MED pushrods and fitted rockershaft and torqued head down set valve gaps............
also fitted water tap, thermostat housing, water pump, rovker cover.........
just awaiting new verto flywheel center as dumped old fly....lol

thanks guys......
today I test fitted carbs to head so as to familiarise myself with how to install them as engine bay will be a bit tight at front.......
then fitted air box.......
