are they not for road use? oh darn...what about those tubular frame ones...the billet swing arms from specialist-components.com does anyone know if there any good for road?

The KAD Alloy ones are design for light-road, so in other words, no going to college, filling the full of mates, then going to Tesco and filling the boot full of beer. Well its the imprestion I got.

I am going to look at the billet ones next, all depends on price to be honest.

it was a white clubby in mini world around 1992 :w00t:

i'm guessing you need coil overs as metros use a different suspension system :w00t:

I havn't got the kit, to set up coil overs, and don't know anyone that will either! ;D

So I'll have to keep the std ones it seems :w00t:

Might be onto a deal on a 6000mile old 'box, with a 4pin diff...
Radius arms kits
FULL cooper brake pipe kit
New handbrake cable...
New Minifin drums
My Cooper S brakes
Deep dish steering wheel - I can now use the car in comfert! ;D

Whens it going to be finished....
the old classic!

A Mini is never finished! But I|'ll give an estimate, it'll be finished around March/May time next year, well it'll be almost finished before then, but the paint won't be going on till then.

I have fitted the subframe, rebuilt the radius arms new bushes, bearings, shafts, and seals! also gave them a lick of paint!

Just need to wait for the weather to hold off for me to fit them to the car! But if its a good week next week, weather wise, I could posssable see the mini on its four wheels again!
And you guys will too!

I have a selection of photos I need to host, so keep your eyes peeled, I have many of them piccy things lol

and to put people in there place that think I am chainging my ideas all the time... I am not. I am now 100% set on what I want, I can now use all my ideas, and knowledge that I have gained to actully put my plans into mation! so nah nah nah! :- You'll see ;D
