Good man, didn't mean to sound condesending, or imply you were stupid, I just know it's not worth it in the end. (well sometimes it is :ermm: )

Didn't mean to make it sound as if you were! :w00t:

I'd just rather see him blow up a car tring to chase me down!

Right, enough of this, get oot there and gie the asshole a Glasgea Kiss right on the hooter....................see, there I go again :w00t:

Mini is looking good by the way, I have just stripped, sanded, painted and rebuilt the front subframe on Rab, and can't wait to get him back on all 4 wheels again, so I can concentrate on the engine.

Well the next job, is the front, the back is almost finished.

But it "get into garage time" so main things I need to do, is engine going, front off, all I need to do, is bolt on/off bits in the garage.

Have you thought about jacking the van up and taking one of his wheels off? It might be a work van, so he wont be bothered about damage, but he cant do no work if he cant drive it! Just do it late at night and throw the wheel away.

Or, you could take the pics you have and report him to the police for criminal damage, and if he wont admit responsibility, get in contact with his work and tell them you will be taking them to small claims court to recover the costs of fixing your car, as it was their vehicle that caused the damage.

I would just be nice to him and try and reason with him. Technically your not allowed to do any sort of that kind of work on her Majesty's Highways anyway, which the police might remind you of if they were to get involved.

(I do like the idea of showering his van with welding sparks though! :w00t:)

I'd go speak to him, ask him to compensate for the damage done.

If not i would go see about a small claims form, with those pictures you could easily win a claims case againist him.

He would have to pay for the repairs, plus the £30 court costs. If he doesnt turn up at court, your near as always win, so if he cant get time off work, then bingo.

Got the brakes blead :-
Found I had a rear wheel cylinder gone, and seized, I also had to change the FULL lenth of the car brake pipe, and change the radius arm pipes.

Started on getting the front off, but things got a little heated with next door, and the police had to be called.

So thats about all I have managed to do :)
Get my new seats tomorrow thou :w00t:

I was going to say mate, either report him to his company for mis-use of a company vehicle, interrogation. But because your Mini is on the road without tax and insurance you cant really report him, but seeing the pic of your mini on your drive...you can now! :-

My Mini is still taxed, MOT'd and Insured!

MOT, and Tax run out end of Dec, insurance runs out some time in June...

Well, the nick rang me today, and said hes been prosocuted, for abusive behavoir, and threating, and breach of section2? So thats that, hopefully he will now :) off, and leave me to it...

Well the Mini, is the garage about 300 yards up the road, where the last piccy was taken...

All I can really do, is bolt on/off bits, so might start working on, getting the engine stripped, and ready for removeal, I have also got to build my other subframe, ready for fitment, might even start on the wiring, and inside planning...

I can't really do any grinding, or welding, as the garage has no power :) But I do have a battary drill, and tin snipps, so I might drill out the spot welds on the front ready for removale...

I have also found the otherside, quarter panel has a MASSIVE hole in it, same place as the otherside, covered by filler... again!!

So all I can do, is what anyone can do without power, and only hand tools to play with... :w00t:

Ohhh, and I picked up my new seats, curtisly of Pikey7 :-

RX7 seats, with harness holes, and will fit into a Mini easy as pie!!, AAAAANNNNDDDD we've found that they are heated seats too!!!
