Hmm I'll check again tommorow I need to fit the tank. It's got a heritage floor in it modified to mk2 specs by mini machine so I assume its accurate!

 

I wish i had modified my boot floor but apart from the seat pan area and the fuel pipe hole they are the same. I will be adding the fuel tank support bracket and modifying the fuel pipe hole later when the car is on the spit.

So it sounds like there is a captive nut on the under side of the boot floor to bolt down to, like the battery ground lead

 

Basically yes. They maybe differences but this is one area i thought would remain the same for the early Clubmans.
