small update 

 

got my ecu for Christmas really good company order it on the friday and received it on the saturday if it wasnt ready to send  on the friday he was going to go in on the saturday to send it as they were off that week as it was christmas week 10/10 company

when i called them up they new exactly what i was on about and said what i will need plugs straight into my z car loom

also got my header take off valve sorted got it from honda

also managed to source a electrical plug for my fuel tank the unit in my fuel tanks is a p38 range rover one managed to source a plug from a scrape range rover if you need one of these. if the fuel tank is in the car there is no inspection hatch you will need to cut the floor of the range rover google it you will find what you need on this subject hope this helps

Have started to fit my wiring looms and tried to start it. when i look none of the loom chassic plug wire colours match up

Could someone please take some photos of there looms to see if there is an issue with mine

Its a k20 with all z cars looms throught

had a bit of a nightmare but have got through that know and am very close to getting it running just need to get some good ridge braided lines a swirl and another pump

 

went to the bingley hall trade fair and bought a few parts

should have the car running by next weekend cannot wait to hear it run for the first time (:

should be ordering an OBP,

swirl pot

water swirl pot

header tank

and a small oil catch tank for the rocker cover take off

 

as well as all the lines and hose ends

Looks promising, I am just in the process of reworking my fuel system so would be interested in your fuel system diagram. Just about to post my proposal on my build thread.

red is return lines and black from pump

 

i had to replace my fuel rail as i could not find a connection to go from braided line to that connection as the are all a set thread on the goodridge connections

Just a suggestion but I would consider putting the filter (currently post swirl pot and post 2nd pump) in front of the pump, between swirl pot and 2nd pump. that way your pump is seeing clean fuel.

does it matter what side you put the t piece for the header tank to connect to?

using these as a remote jumper point for the battery as it will save me taking the seat out every time i need to charge the car

would recommend the Bosch 044 pump it hit 80 psi on the gauge untill i turned it down on the regulator

 

have made a light weigh cross member for the minis
