Hi all

 

Is any one off here doing any autosolos around the manchester, cheshire, derbyshire area? I fancy a go at one in my metro :)

 

Anyone reccomend any for a laugh?

There's one called the lymm that's on in June in Cheshire. I'd prefer a grass/dirt one though as it'll be kinder on certain parts of my car

My motorclub (Knutsford and District MC) run a grass autotest championship during summer months if of any interest.  Information on the KDMC website.

 

I did fancy a go at the Lymm autosolo....look like fun. Will need to get the car running a bit better though before I do anything like that.

I'm going to be taking the metro to AB Garage to get setup soon before I go doing anything like that. But I'm also going to Shelsley Walsh in August so need it running right to get a decent time in lol. It's currently running like a brick in a washing machine. And that sounds interesting,w ill give it a look into. Grass'll be kinder to my subframe mountings lol

Autosolo are only run on sealed sufaces. Or at least should be according to their regs.

Yeh that is what I thought but there are a few clubs running them on surfaces more like gravel than tarmac.
