We ran the softest Avons on the rear and the not quite so soft on the front. Great fir a 63 second hill climb hot enough to cook an egg on. But at a longer sprint say at Donnington they were dead at the end.
Also not the Avon 13" slicks are heavy when compared to the 10" slicks from Dunlop and Hoosier.
I am having similar issues on compounds as I am planing on a few Hillclimbs in Germany.

With 13" I have 175/60/13 or even 215/50/13 in all compounds available from kumho v70 semis which fits my rims and setup I have now....

I've just fitted the 165/70r10 Avon CR6ZZ`s on my 10" x 6" rims. If it`s dry on the 26th i`m taking my car around combe so will see how they compare to the A032r`s. Sidewall is much stiffer & the tread block is really rigid in comparison so it looks like the performance of the avon`s when up to temp will be stable and consistent, just hope they are a sticky compound.
FYI I got them from Slovenia in the end and they worked out at £134 each delivered. Minisport sell them at £160 each + delivery

Anyone some experience with it?
Sounds like a good alternative to the a032 or Avon 6zz, true??
my m8 has them on his mini but he got his best times with Dunlop slicks.
