Evening all,

I know there is a big thread on all the seats that fit in a mini but slightly different question and haven't got the time to go through 37 pages trying to find a little bit of info.

I need some new seats. My current ones are on rail extenders (i'm 6ft 6 so need the room!) but they hit the storage bins when fully pushed back and reclined slightly (my natural driving position)

Could anyone recommend any decent seats that are quite thin but still comfy? Every extra millimeter I can recline them helps!

Thanks,

Pete

I take it these won't fit the standard rails?

The Elise seats are great, but they are now going for about £400 to £600 a pair ... also not adjustable backs.

How about something out of a 70's or 80's BL sports car ... the TR7 / MGB / Midget seats were small?

Yeah had a look at some last night, but a bit more than i wanted to pay!

I never really like the midget seats. Had a friend who used to have one and they just weren't very supportive. I'll have a gander at the others though, thanks for the suggestions!

Or pop down your local breakers and see what they have, some of the smaller French stuff had nice seats in ...then you pick a set up on eBay for less, the mounting frames are super easy to make if you have a mig or know somebody who has.
