the holes in my parcel shelf of my 99 mini are for 16cm speakers i'm sure.....

Hokey dokey, I got a chance to take out one of the speakers. The hole in the bodywork is 13cm diameter, the three mounting holes are on a slightly wider circle and the diameter of the speaker cover is 16cm.

So I'm thinking that 13cm speakers should be fine, please tell me if I'm wrong.

What I'm having trouble is finding a set of speakers with 3 mount points, any ideas?

some alpine speakers have LOADSA holes in them, and are direct replacement for LOADSA different cars. So im sure some of them will line up.

I believe the 13cm ones my mate had were labelled as Alfa Romeo and a few other cars.

but bassically u get a half decent speaker, for about 30 quid, with loadsa holes round the out side.
