They're blooming expensive but I wear Haix Climbers. They are hands down the comfiest boots I have had and I wear these for at least 12 hours a day, 11 days out of 14 in a variety of conditions. A light polish every so often and I can make them last 2 years before the water proofing starts to go

I normally go through a pair or two a year for work, tried lots of different ones now but the best I've had are Doc Martens
Has anyone tried these?

Still looking for a comfortable pair of shoes, I tried the ones above but they were too narrow. Has anybody tried these dewalt trainer type ones?

Try these

I use these at work and they are very comfortable. I'm on my feet all day for 12 hrs. They do a fairly wide fit as well which is good for my feet.
There is also a version with a Zip down the side which makes them very easy to remove / fit. As AVV IT has mentioned used by various folks who are on their feet all day. The bonus for me is they are light weight as well.

Interesting that you get along with the Magnums sonikk. I tried some the last time I was getting new boots and went through three pairs before just getting my money back. The problem was the lace-holes. They used a plastic eyelet rather than metal and they all broke the "riveting" off the rear so you just ended up with two plastic washers rather than en eyelet. The last set did it in the shop when I put them on straight out of the box so the guy saw I wasn't doing anything untoward. He reckoned then that they had a bad batch but I wasn't for keeping messing about and just got my money back. Wonder if he was right and the problem has been solved?
I've tried Trojans in the past and wouldn't waste money on them again.
Cats have always been good in my experience as have Doc Martens. Groundwork are good and in fact what I'm wearing now. Prospecta's have also been good in the past but I haven't seen any in a while.

+1 on the HAIX climbers, but I find them very heavy/too much for just general wearing. I only use them for climbing.
My everyday boots at the moment are Dr martins, very comfy and support the ankle very well. They are very weather proof and are wearing very well, i must've had them nearly a year now and not showing any signs of damage. Not sure how much they are as they get provided, by I'll deffo ask for them again. What size are you... ;)

To be honest i have tried so many different types of safety boot from early Magnums (appalling and played havoc with my feet) to the latest version which i find very comfortable. Most of the lads at work use them although a few find them to be no good, excessive sweating etc. I would love DM's but i would probably kill them very quickly. We have to take into consideration Aviation fuel, Hydraulic oil, Alcohol (not the drinking type) plus other chemicals and so far these latest Magnums are holding up. The bonus with them is they are composite soled and toe cap so we do not have to keep removing them every time we go through the airside scanners.

I've had a pair of Dickies boots for 2 years that have lasted me well. I wear them, every day at my holiday job at a supermarket (you may laugh but a cage full of milk is bloody heavy! I also wear them for 16 odd hours a day for 4 days straight when I'm working for racing teams and they're always comfortable. I got them pretty cheaply from a local trade shop in Ashford, certainly for a hell of a lot less than them. I also have a pair of Makita trainer style shoes - still steel toe and sole etc - that are also very comfortable that I wear with shorts. They're pretty heavy really but better than hurting your feet
