Hi all,
I don't think I've introduced myself before. I drop into this forum occassionally to check out the exterior renovation tips etc, but normally hang out on Ausmini.com's forums as it's marginally closer to home
Anyway, I have owned minis for 5 years and the family's fleet consists of, in order of pruchase:
1 x Clubman van, now a deceased project and the shell is passing on to someone to use for a mockup mule
1 x Clubman saloon, crash repairs nearly complete and respray & general tidy up required
1 x Mk II 850, my wife's current daily driver (Or should I say my current wife's daily driver )
1 x Clubman Estate. The most recent purchase (as of 2 weeks ago)and currently having its gearbox reconditioned and steering attended to. This will become my wife's daily driver when we get it back.
I generally like to do my own repairs, but in this case we needed it on the road ASAP and I don't touch engine internals. It will enable me to take the 850 and respray it.
Other vehicles:
1 x Commer van, 1970. The workhorse which is (a) rare, and (B) as much fun to drive as the 850.
1 x Mitsubishi Galant - for shuffling kids around
1 x CBR600FP. Ride one of these and you can see why people want to put bike engines in minis. 90bhp (standard) at 10,000rpm?
Clubman estate (aka The banana car):
Commer van (Looks rougher than it is, just needs a respray. Very original 14 seater bus less rear seats):
Kia Ora!

Love the colour of your Clubman a bit different to the colours you normally see Clubmans in. You have quite a fleet.

Kia Ora is Maori for Hello. It also means Well Done. A translation to Cockney would be Wotcha, I guess.
